Salmon is a very healthy fish that has high amounts of Omega 3 fatty acid and Vitamin D. Following is my recipe, that turns this Nutritious fish into a toothsome baked salmon steak. I like to serve it with steam veggies.
Salmon – one medium fillet (boneless)
Salt – 1/4 tsp
Black Pepper – 1/4 tsp (coarse ground)
Dried Thyme – 1/4 tsp
Rosemary – 1/4 tsp
Soy Sauce – 1 tbsp
Corn Flour – 1 tsp
Worcestershire sauce – 1 tsp
Butter – 2 tsp
Baby Carrots, Broccoli, Olives as desire
Olive oil, salt, pepper, soy sauce for seasoning veggies
Marinate fillet in salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, soy sauce, corn flour and Worcestershire sauce. Add one tsp butter in a hot pan and place fish fillet over it. When crispy from one side turn. When both sides are golden and crisp, dish out. Place it on a piece of foil, add tsp butter over it and wrap. Place it in a preheated oven and bake for 10 mins.
Steam broccoli and carrot. Add tsp olive oil in a pan, add steamed veggies and olives. Add pinch salt, black pepper and tsp soy sauce.Mix for 2 mins and serve with baked fish.
