Flavorful snack, that’s handy, tasty and enjoyable. You can make your own pitas too but if you are short of time and need a quick easy snack then buy a ready-made pita and stuff it with delicious filling of meat, veggies and sauce.
Chicken – 1 cup Julianne cut
Oil – 1 tbsp
Ginger / garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Salt – 1/2 tsp ( to taste )
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Yogurt – 2 tbsp
All spice powder – 1/4 tsp
Cumin – 1/2 tsp coarse ground
Pitas – 2 cut in half
Onion – 1, cut in rings
Tomato – 1 large , Julianne cut
Mint chutney – half cup
– Marinate chicken with g/g paste, salt, chili, pepper, lemon juice, yogurt, cumin and all spice powder. Heat oil, add the chicken mix well and cover till tender.
– Prepare mint chutney with coriander, mint, salt and green chilies. Mix 2 tbsp of it with 4 tbsp yogurt.
– In halved pita add onion, tomato, chicken and mint chutney.
– You may add any other veggie or sauce as you desire and enjoy 🙂
