A quick recipe for home made bounty bars, coconuty inside and chocolaty outside. All you need for this recipe are three ingredients !! yes you heard it right …. ONLY three ingredients and 10 mins of preparation time and you have delicious bounty bars ready.
Following recipe makes around 10-12 small bars:
Crushed coconut or dry grated coconut powder – 2 cups
Condensed Milk – 3 tbsp
Chocolate for coating – 6 Oz , melted
– In coconut powder add condensed milk and mix well.
– Make mini bars. I prefer using disposable kitchen gloves so that coconut powder remains clean and doesn’t stick to hands.
– Freeze for 30 mins.
– Melt chocolate in microwave for one min, take out and stir. Microwave again for 30 seconds and mix. (Heating too much at once may burn or over heat the chocolate). Keep it on the kitchen counter and let it cool to room temperature.
– Dip frozen bars in cooled melted chocolate. Hold each of them in between two forks for few seconds so extra chocolate drips down. Place them on tray and freeze for few more mins.
