One of my favorite , spicy and gingery chicken stir fry. Here is a recipe for this inviting and mouth watering dish.
Boneless chicken – 500 g Julienne cut
Salt – 1/2 tsp to taste
Black Pepper – 1/2 tsp
Corn flour – 1 tbsp
Plain white flour – 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Soy sauce – 1 tbsp
White vinegar – 1 tbsp
Red chili flakes – 1/2 tsp
Chili garlic Sauce – 2 tbsp
Red food color – few drops (optional)
Chinese chili sauce – 1 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce – 2 tbsp
Oyster Sauce – 1 tbsp
Ginger – 3 tbsp very thin Julienne cut
Green or Red chilies – 2 Julienne cut
Spring Onion – 1 tbsp Chopped (green part)
-Marinate Chicken in salt, Chili flakes, black pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice , ginger garlic paste, Chili garlic sauce, food color, plain flour and corn flour. (at least 2 hours)
-In 2 tbsp oil, cook this chicken till tender. (Add little Water if needed). Take chicken out and set aside.
-In the same pan add Chinese chili sauce, spring onion and ginger. Stir well on medium-high flame.
-Add Worcestershire sauce and oyster sauce along with chilies. Mix well.
– Finally add chicken and stir on high flame for 5-7 mins. Serve hot with Chow mien or Chinese rice.
